It is a known fact that dogs are man’s best friend. Who doesn’t want to go everywhere with their best friend, let alone share a meal with them? Considered one of the most pet-friendly cities in America, Austin has a ton of amazing spots for you to hit with the pooch, including restaurants.

Who:  Yard Bar

What: Yard Bar is a combination dog park/restaurant/bar where Bark Rangers are on guard to watch your dogs. For humans, there is food and many drink options, and for the canines, there are sliders and ice cream. Memberships are $150 annually, and $5 per day.

Who:  Banger’s Sausage House & Beer Garden

What: Located in the Rainy Street District of Downtown Austin, enjoy a house made sausage while your dog runs around the puppy park. The kitchen even serves a special dog-friendly sausage.

Who: The Picnic – Food Truck Park

What:  Come enjoy a delicious meal at Austin’s premier food trailer park on Barton Springs Road where you can enjoy sitting under the shaded picnic tables while your dog sits by your side. After lunch you can even take a short walk to Zilker Park!
